About Me
I develop and design AI systems at BMW Research, currently leading in-car AI agents that operate graphical user interfaces (LLM computer use / GUI agents). This redefines the next generation of human-computer interaction, turning voice assistants into agentic systems that can operate the vehicle's UI to complete end-to-end tasks in real-world contexts.
My work spans the full lifecycle of AI innovation, from early research and prototyping to system design and large-scale production deployment. At BMW, I have led AI solutions from concept to scale, including leading a team of engineers in China to take a system from prototype to production serving the China market, filed patents, and published applied research.
In parallel, I am building a consumer AI-native health and fitness platform using wearable data for personalized conversational coaching. As a former basketball player and current endurance sports enthusiast (running and triathlon), I am motivated to build technology that improves everyday fitness, healthspan, and long-term well-being.
I bring an entrepreneurial mindset to science and engineering, with experience collaborating across startups and global organizations including BMW, Amazon, AT&T, and Honeywell. I am always learning, mentor students, and value knowledge-sharing.
